I am very fond of this shot of my face - because through the monochromatic rusty-brown of the clay -- the contrast of my eyes is intense and striking.
I tend to be highly critical to the point that I find every photograph of myself to be highly flawed and imperfect.... I just hate them altogether. Human nature to be one's greatest critic and expose one's insecurities in this manner. But this one, -- I am quite proud of.

NO NO NO NO NO
My eyes WERE NOT photoshopped. It is the contrast of my natural eyecolor (moodring hazel) against the monochromatic tone of the entire image that causes them to in affect look so bright. And it should also be noted that my lashes are not painted on or in or whatever; I have DARK HAIR, which means dark eyebrows and dark lashes... and the editing done to this image to cover the few spots on my face where the skin was left exposed blended my brows with the clay, which also accounts for the color of the lashes being so strong and vivid. I hope that clears things up for once and for all. Geeeeeeeeez!
